Behavioral Technician Devcare Solutions Nashville, TN 37214 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavioral interventions and support their growth and development. Your expertise in behavioral health and special education will be essential in fostering positive outcomes for our clients. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional. Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress to ensure effective treatment strategies. Assist clients in developing social skills and daily living skills through structured activities. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for clients. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills related to behavioral health and special education. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and record-keeping practices. Familiarity with data collection methods relevant to behavioral interventions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. A background in special education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

$13.00 – $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

12 hour shift Weekends as needed
