SUMMARY:

The BCBA Consultant provides expert clinical support and advisement in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to promote quality service delivery and improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. This role involves applying evidence-based practices to understand and change behavior to promote socially significant outcomes for those served by Frontier Health.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education:

Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related human services field

Certification:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required

Qualifications:

Successful completion of internship and/or formal training in the analysis of Behavior and instructional strategies training related to working with clients who have pervasive developmental disorders and related disorders, their parents, and other agencies working with client Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skill, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction Knowledge of DTT programming and implementation Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook systems Ability to utilize a fax machine, phone system, and other office materials as Necessary for the position Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct indirect and direct assessments to identify and analyze individual behavioral needs. Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and support implementation Provide training as needed to guide implementation of treatment plans and ensure fidelity to ABA interventions as recommended Participate in continued learning as relates to the responsibilities of the consultative role Develop and implement data collection systems to monitor individual progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Analyze data and use it to inform decision-making and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Participate in team meetings and collaborative discussions with other professionals as scheduled to ensure a holistic approach to care. Provide consultation and training to parents/caregivers on behavior management strategies if required for implementation of treatment plan. Maintain compliance with ethical standards and best practices in the field of behavior analysis. Adhere to professional and ethical compliance codes for behavior analysts. Maintain accurate and detailed client records and documentation.
