Full-Time Nights, 3 12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Hospital :
UAB St. Vincent’s East Benefits for eligible positions include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more 7 North is a new 23-bed unit. We care for patients admitted with a primary cardiac admitting diagnosis. We specialize in the care of cardiac inpatients, post-procedural patients and cardiac telemetry patients. We have an interdisciplinary approach, working closely with our hospitalists and cardiology team.
What You Will Do:
Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision. Aid with movement and placement of patients. Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living. Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records. Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

Licensure / Certification /
Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
