Job Description
Care Tech – Cardiac Intervention (Days) 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Mobile, AL 36695 The Cardiac Intervention Unit (CIU) will facilitate care to the following patient populations: patients admitted for cardiac catheterization, elective coronary interventional procedures including PTCA, stent, atherectomy, electrophysiology testing and/or ablation, elective electrical cardioversion, permanent cardiac pacemaker or AICD implantation. Anticipated length of stay for these patients is less than 48 hours. The unit provides expert quality care to patients utilizing an interdisciplinary collaborative approach in an effort to return the patient to their highest level of wellness. The CIU is committed to providing healthcare that is unmatched in quality, convenience that is patient/family centered.
Position Overview:
The Care Tech will be responsible for vital signs, assisting nursing personnel, and helping patients with basic daily needs.
Pre-employment Requirements:

Education Requirements:
Validation of high school diploma or equivalent required.
Job Requirements:
Applicant must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in Alabama, Certified Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, EMT, or currently enrolled in a nursing program. If enrolled in a nursing program, completion of Fundamentals of Nursing is a requirement, and documentation is required Experience preferred. Must be dependable, hardworking, and a team player with a good attitude and professional behavior. Must have the ability to effectively communicate and carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
