Fairfield, CA Top Skills Should You Possess:

• Cardiology Experience in Inpatient or Outpatient setting required
• Current RDCS or RVT Certification required
• Ability to workMonday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm (35 hours per week)

What You’ll BeDoing:

• Responsible and accountable for the delivery of allcardiology service modalities according to the CardiovascularMedicine clinic
• Work collaboratively with the healthcareproviders ensuring that high-quality, cost-effective care isprovided to all patients under this service by acting as a clinicalresource, monitoring standards of practice and patient outcomes;patient satisfaction; and adherence to departmental policies,procedures and guidelines.
• Provide direct patient care relativeto the department organizational policies and procedures, which mayinclude but are not limited to: ECG, echocardiograms, stressechoes, ECG stress test, monitoring, vascular studies, etc.
• Document data in the electronic record base (ex: CPACS, Cerner).
• Instruct and assists the patient in preparation for testing and/orprocedures according to the needs of the patient population.
• Continually monitor and observe the patient during testing and/orprocedure and notifies the physician immediately if needed.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.

What You Need toBring to the

Table:

• High school diploma or GED
• Currentcertification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)OR as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the CardiovascularCredentialing International (CCI) required
• Current AHA BLScertification required
• At least one (1) year of experience as aCardiology Sonographer in Inpatient or Outpatient setting
• Strongcomputer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsstrongly preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
