The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic Cardiac ultrasound examinations on patients, providing critical information to assist physicians in making accurate diagnoses. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care. Duties Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations Utilize appropriate imaging techniques and equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation by physicians. Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient management plans. Document all procedures accurately in accordance with medical protocols and standards. Stay updated with advancements in sonography technology and practices. Assist in training and mentoring new staff or students as needed. Qualifications Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent is preferred. Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge is essential. Experience or knowledge in telemetry, cardiology, emergency medicine, cardiac catheterization, and radiology is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
