Job Description
Cardiac Sonographer I – Brooksville – (240000BY) Description Acquires echocardiographic data using tranthorascic transducer acquisition with patient at rest per physician protocol. Work includes morphologic imaging, assessment of myocardial function, recording hemodynamic parameters, visualization of blood flow. May also perform Stress Testing, TEE, Holter monitoring per physician protocol. Obtain clinical data for physician interpretation.
Qualifications Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonographer program.
ARCMS, RDCS
Experience:
One year experience Cardiac Ultrasound, including Stress testing and TEE experience required. Pediatric scanning experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
ARDMS/CCI – RDCS.
Must complete RDCS exam within 1 years of hire -if not registered. BLS required.
