Job Summary and Qualifications We are currently seeking aCardiovascular Technician to join our team. As our CardiovascularTechnician, you will assist in cardiac catheterization, as well asvascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will alsoperform emergency procedures associated with catheterizationprocedure – IAB and temporary pacer insertion. You will followestablished standards and practices under the direction of acredentialed invasive cardiologist, or credentialed invasiveradiologist. Your tasks and responsibilities may include: You willdemonstrate responsibility and accountability in recognizing andidentifying potential and actual patient problems, collectingaccurate data and participate in the patient’s Place of Care inaccordance with the department/unit’s standards. You willprioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activitiesbased on accurate patient information and staff capabilities. Youwill demonstrate knowledge of cardiac A & P, with the specificconditions, diseases (CAD), and treatment therapies for thespecific patient populations of the Department. You willdemonstrate knowledge and competency to perform Cath labprocedures. You will assist in data collection r/t cardiovascular,respiratory, neurological, renal and peripheral vascular status.

You will also document findings and reports abnormal orout-of-range results to physician.

Qualifications:

High school orGED required LPN one year experience with Critical Care coursewithin one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one yearRCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program. Current BLS(Basic Life Support) Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Critical thinking, service excellenceand good interpersonal communication skills, ability toread/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbalinstructions, PC skills HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital islocated in Sarasota County, FL.
