Description:
The Invasive Radiological Technologist providesfundamental technical support by assisting the physician withpatient preparation, intra and post-interventional/surgicalprocedures, management of supplies and devices, physiologic patientmonitoring and assisting with direct patient care. Responsible forsafe and effective operation or radiographic and fluoroscopicequipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipmentused for procedures. Is a patient/family educator, advocate andliaison.

Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)credentials and current BLS certification. ACLS within 6 months ofhire date if hired in the Cath lab. Proof of eligibility foradvanced certification required (VI,CV,CI for IVR and RCIS or RCESfor Cath Lab. Must attain advanced certification within (2) yearsof hire date.
