Per Week Job Summary:
we are seeking an experienced Cath LabTechnologist with a strong background in at least two of thefollowing: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, orNeuro. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with atleast 18 months of recent experience in Cath Lab. Travelers musthave experience in two of the four specialties listed above.
Required Experience & Certifications:
Minimum 2 years in Cath LabMust reflect two of the following in work history: Cardiac CathInterventional Radiology Vascular Neuro Certifications (Required):
BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) ARRT (R)
CCI RCIS
(preferred) RCVT (preferred)
Charting:
EPIC experience preferred
Duties & Skills:
Diagnostic andInterventional Cardiac Cath procedures IABP placement/removal PTCA,PCI, Rotablator atherectomy Right & Left heart catheterizationsCardiac stent placements and closure devices
Responsibilities:
Equipment setup Room circulation Scrubbing and maintaining sterilefield Recognizing and responding to life-threatening arrhythmias
Infection Control:
Isolation precautions Sterile technique
