Full Job Description Overview What You Will Do:
The Echocardiography Tech is a skilled practitioner in assisting with the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures; provides care to patient populations with complex health issues; analyzes and anticipates less predictable outcomes of cardiac diagnosis testing; responsible for notifying physician when a life-threatening problem is found; understands and demonstrates Atrium Heath Navicent core values and skills in performance of job duties. Performs all transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography studies for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population, including but not limited; Angio screens, routine and time studies, procedural pre/intra/post studies, color studies, flow studies, pharmacologic & stress exams Completes all appropriate documentation on each study performed Works with nursing staff to assure patient has optimal study as directed by physician Acts in a consultative manner to physician when they are interpreting studies Serves as mentor/preceptor for

Health Sciences Programs:
