Cardiac Technologists are apart of life-saving diagnoses and care through the performance ofcardiovascular tests and procedures. Individuals will workalongside a star team of physicians and nurses to delivertop-quality care to a wide variety of client populations, includingchildren and geriatrics. This highly-rewarding,team-styled approach to patient care is perfect for hardworkingindividuals eager to share their knowledge. Responsibilities

  • Performs invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular diagnostic,interventional and electrophysiology procedures using sophisticatedimaging, hemodynamic monitoring and recording equipment to assessand treated cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.
  • Possess athorough understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamicprinciples, X-ray techniques, and emergent and routine cardiaccare.
  • Possess knowledge of pharmacologic options for treatmentand the impact it can have on exercise performance, hemodynamic anddiagnostic tests.
  • Utilize different equipment, programs, andcomputers, including Cardiac, Vascular and EP experienceXPER/CUPID/ GE, Siemens and Phillips XR system.
  • Ability to workwith growth and development needs of unique client populations.

Qualifications Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology orequivalent experience is required. Possesses expert knowledge incardiovascular technology, including pharmacology and advancedcardiac rhythm management. Possesses a thorough understanding ofcardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamic principles, X-raytechniques, and emergent and routine cardiac care. Certification asa Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within 12months of hire is preferred. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support(ACLS) preferred and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) ifapplicable to position is preferred. Depending on locationCertification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist(RCIS) within 12 months of hire is required. AdvancedCardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required within 6 months ofhire and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if applicable toposition is preferred.
