Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at thetime of the offer. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic proceduresto assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance withaccepted protocols. Set up and adjust all imaging equipment andmanually maneuver transducers to perform exams. Implement safetystandards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.

Perform routine and complex studies and assist in a variety ofimaging procedures. Recognize significant structures, artifacts,pathology and equipment limitations. Position patients and selectanatomic and technical parameters accurately. Ensure all activitiescomply with regulatory agency standards. Ensure prompt submissionof high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (imagequality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). Assist inmaintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to includeprocedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage areaand any other areas in department. Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month(30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. AmericanHeart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more ofthe following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from theCardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. RadiologicTechnologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from theAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtainedwithin 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry forDiagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180days) of hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographercredentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic MedicalSonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire dateor job transfer date. Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiaccredentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International(CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or jobtransfer date.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technicaldegree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired.
