SUMMARY:
The CardiovascularTechnologists diagnoses cardiovascular problems use medical imagingmethods like cardiovascular radiography to diagnose heartconditions, vascular problems, or ailments that involves the heart,it’s arteries, valves, or blood vessels.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate ofan accredited program in Radiologic Technology, CardiovascularTechnology, or as a Surgical Technician Certification and/orRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)certified.
Experience in a Cardiac Catheterization lab orAngiography lab preferred.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Certification.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)within two (2) years of hire date.
Knowledge of electrocardiography,coronary heart disease, cardiac anatomy andphysiologyElectrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation.
Good written andoral communication skills.
Preferred Registered in one of thefollowing:
Registered Radiologic Cardiovascular InterventionalTechnologist (RT-CI), Radiologic Cardiovascular Technologist(RT-CV), Radiologic Technologist (RRT), or Surgical TechnicianCertified.
