Summary:

The Interventional Radiologic Technologist operates digitalequipment and performs complex invasive procedures by positioningpatients and preparing contrast media to perform diagnostic andtherapeutic procedures to assist the physician in diagnosis andtreatment. Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Workswith contrast media, chemotherapy agents, radiations agents,cements, resins and embolization agents. This position may requireperforming procedures in other department such as O.R. Cath lab ofmultiple imaging modalities This position is clinical 100%. Mayrequire mandatory call as needed. Qualifications Licensure /Certification /

Registration:

State of Connecticut Radiographerlicense. ARRT certification in Radiography required. Basic LifeSupport (BLS)

Education:

Graduate from an accredited Radiographyprogram.

Experience:
