• CardiovascularOperating Room Technician for a contract with one of our tophealthcare clients. Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited Schoolof Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as asurgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPRprovider card.
• Must have a minimum of eighteen months of CVORrecent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to thesurgical care of the open-heart patient population.
• Knowledge ofCVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgicalprocedures and other procedures as needed.

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Functionsproficiently in scrubbing, 2nd circulating, and 3rd person/HeartHolder roles of the CVOR.
• Picks supplies for surgeries, sets upinstruments and scrubs for surgical procedure, and performsinstrument and sponge count accurately.
• Obtain specimens, handover to circulating nurse and verifies location.
• Facilitates roomturnover time.
• Participates in department on-call schedule.
