Lifetime:

The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Programprovides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE andabove, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offersmonthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to theamount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.

Overview:

The job description below is based offthe Mercy-wide Cardiovascular service line Sonographer CareerLadder. This career ladder is in place to promote careeradvancement for new and current Mercy employees and ultimatelyimprove co-worker satisfaction and retention. Our goal here atMercy South Non-invasive Cardiology is to provide exceptionalservice to the patients we serve. These co-workers must demonstratefairness, integrity, and compassion in all interactions withpatients, visitors and staff and respects the confidentialinformation to which he/she may have access. All job duties andresponsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with ourmission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Graduate of a school of sonography or registeredtechnologist.

• Experience:

  None required. Credit may be given ifexperience was received with on the job training by a Preceptor whois registered in Cardiac ultrasound.

• Certification/Registration
• ARDMS/RVT or ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RVS eligible.
• BLS This positionis based at our Mercy Hospital St.
