Overview:

The job descriptionbelow is based off the Mercy-wide Cardiovascular service lineSonographer Career Ladder. This career ladder is in place topromote career advancement for new and current Mercy employees andultimately improve co-worker satisfaction and retention. Our goalhere at Mercy Hospital Ardmore Non-invasive Cardiology is toprovide exceptional service to the patients we serve. Theseco-workers must demonstrate fairness, integrity, and compassion inall interactions with patients, visitors and staff and respects theconfidential information to which he/she may have access. All jobduties and responsibilities must be performed in a mannerconsistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Graduate of a school of sonography orregistered technologist.

• Experience:

  None required. Credit may begiven if experience was received with on the job training by aPreceptor who is registered in Cardiac ultrasound.

•

Certification/Registration:

ARDMS/RVT or ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RVSeligible. BLS This position is based at our Mercy Hospital St.

Louis location off New Ballas Rd. You may also have the opportunityto work at one of our other St.
