Travel We’re looking for a CardiacCatheterization Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) for an immediatetravel opening in Winston Salem, NC. The right Cath Lab Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read belowfor additional requirements. Cath Lab Techs assist doctors during advanced diagnostic andinterventional cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization,peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures inthe Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Scrubbing, monitoring andassisting providers as requested. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for: Preparing the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequatestock is available and in working condition, including instrumentsterilization if applicable. Preparing patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures bypreparing site of entry, draping patient, arranging sterilizedinstruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressuretransducers and tubing. Operating and ensuring the quality control of all equipmentutilized in the cardiac cath lab. Knowledge of all relatedequipment within the laboratory. Scrubbing in during procedures, assisting the physician inmaneuvering catheters. Obtaining and recording hemodynamic, electrical, andangiographic data by operating-hemodynamic and electricalamplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment. Monitoring the patient’s hemodynamic status during proceduresin the cardiac cath lab. Participating in life-saving measures such as defibrillationand cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Cath Lab techs should be able tostand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean orstoop without difficulty. Must have 1 year of experience. The Cath Lab Tech must have

BLS,ACLS, ARRT

(R) -CI preferred or

CCI-RCIS
