PositionSummary$7,500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidatesA CardiacSonographer/Echocardiographer is a credentialed medicalprofessional with academic and clinical experience to use imagingtechnology to help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients.

They operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2-D or 3-Dimages of the heart and its chambers. The scope of practiceincludes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, forwhich the individual has received education, clinical experienceand completed ARDMS- RDCS and/or RVT or

CCI- RCS

registration,which is the standard of practice in Ultrasound.

MinimumRequirementsHigh school or equivalent (or higher)Current AmericanHeart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification isrequiredFor ECU Health Medical Center, current ARDMS (RDCS or RVT)or CCI (RSC) registration/certification is required.
