Preferred qualifications include registered status or experience in Vascular (RVT), and/or Abdomen &/or OB/GYN. Responsibilities include working in various patient care settings using ultrasonic imaging devices, and providing medically useful images for Cardiologist(s) interpretation. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of an AMA approved and/or JRCERT and SACS accredited school of Medical Ultrasound Technology Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) RDCS, – Echocardiography Current

CPR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Registered status or experience in Vascular (RVT), and/or Abdomen &/or OB/GYN Routine and acute patient care settings using ultrasonic imaging devices, in restricted areas of The Imaging Center, Emergency Department, Surgical suites, Recovery areas (PACU), Labor and Delivery area, or patient bedside. Exposure to blood and other body emesis-born pathogens. Proficient use of HIS/RIS, PACS, ISCV, and tele-radiology networking. Uses real-time sonographic systems to produce medically useful images of patients’ anatomy for Cardiologist(s) interpretation. Primary patient contact is adult in nature with less than 10% being pediatric. Assesses patient imaging needs for sequencing, equipment selection and settings, and scheduling. As required, assumes responsibility for delegated designated imaging areas within scope of training. Ability to work irregular hours at times, in order to maintain staffing requirements to meet patient care needs, is essential.
