Job Description:

As a Cath Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in ourcardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting physicians indiagnosing and treating heart conditions. You will work as part ofa highly skilled team, directly assisting with minimally invasiveprocedures and ensuring optimal patient care throughout. This is adynamic and demanding role, requiring a strong commitment topatient safety, technical expertise, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with invasive cardiaccatheterization procedures by preparing sterile equipment,monitoring vital signs, and anticipating needs. Performelectrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests as instructedby physicians. Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment,ensuring its functionality and sterility. Prepare and administercontrast media and medications as directed by physicians. Monitorpatient responses to procedures and document observationsaccurately. Assist with patient positioning and comfort duringprocedures. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safetyprotocols. Educate patients about procedures and post-proceduralcare. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and otherhealthcare professionals. Stay up-to-date on advances in cardiactechnology and best practices.

Qualifications:

Associate degree inCardiac Catheterization Technology or a related field.

Certification in Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) orequivalent preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath labsetting. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.

Proficient in sterile technique and infection control procedures.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressureenvironment. Compassionate and patient-centered approach. Excellentcritical thinking and problem-solving skills.
