Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced Cardiovascular Technicians to join a dynamic Cath Lab team in Albany, NY. This is a full-time contract position offering a consistent 40-hour workweek with 10-hour shifts over four days. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience and be skilled in supporting physicians with pacemaker implants, AICD implants, and ablation procedures .

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures involving cardiac and peripheral vascular systems. Operate, assemble, and monitor hemodynamic and electrophysiologic equipment . Perform EKGs, treadmill stress tests, and non-invasive peripheral vascular ultrasound testing. Prepare and register patients, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Provide comfort and support to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns. Maintain a sterile, safe, and compliant work environment following aseptic protocols. Stay up to date with continuing education and professional development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab or Cardiovascular Technician role. Proficient with pacemaker, AICD, and ablation procedure support. Experience with EKGs, stress testing, and ultrasound imaging. Excellent patient interaction and communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and aseptic technique.
