Job Description
Summary of Position:
Assists cardiologists with cardiac catheterizations, PCIs, peripheral vascular procedures, pace maker insertions and special and/or emergency procedures. Prepares equipment and patients for procedures. Monitors and records all hemodynamic and angiographic data obtained during procedures. Provides office function support, environmental cleaning of suites, supply management and inventory. Assists in training of new staff members.
Qualifications:
Licensed Radiology Technologist required. Cath Lab experience strongly preferred. Must be able to perform all diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular procedures, intra-aortic balloon insertion and pumping timing, hemodynamic calculations and transducer calibrations, pacemaker insertion and/or all special procedures. PCI experience preferred. BLS and ACLS certification is mandatory within 6 months of hire. Encouraged to obtain a certificate in Cardiac Interventional Radiography or RCIS within 2 years of start date.
Salary Range:
$26.19 – $43.01

29 Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to: overall experience and qualifications, shift, and location.
