Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll (GWTG Award) Joint Commission’s Advanced Heart Failure Center (Certification) The Cardiac Ultrasound technologist performs non-invasive diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures and assists with invasive ultrasound procedures at a technical level, not requiring direct supervision. Ensures delivery of quality service to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Participates in on-call coverage, weekend and holiday work according to the cardiac ultrasound schedule. Education Requirements 2 year/Associate Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate’s Degree Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role. Experience Relevant Experience Certification and Licensure BLS Certification American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) (RDCS
AE, RDCS PE
) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) (RCS) (required within 12 months of graduation)
