Full-time, Academic Year (10 months) with limited summer hours
Job Summary:
South Hills School of Business & Technology is seeking a dedicated and experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonography Faculty Member specializing in Cardiac Sonography to join our State College campus. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for teaching and a strong clinical background to support the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as instructor during scheduled class times, including preparation, lecture delivery, and student assessment. Participate in hands-on supervised scanning labs specific to the cardiac sonography track. Assist the Cardiac Track Coordinator in performing clinical site visits and on-site competency evaluations. Support institutional initiatives, including Admissions events, Job Placement efforts, and Student Engagement activities.
Qualifications:
Credential:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE) required Additional credentials in Pediatric (RDCS-PE) or Fetal Echocardiography (RDCS-FE) preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in a dedicated cardiac department required
Education:
