Job Description
The Cardiovascular Lab Technologist/Cath Lab Tech is a professional caregiver who specializes and performs/assists with invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures. Responsible for assisting the cardiologist in while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences, RT or an accredited school for Cardiovascular Technology/CVT.

Experience:

Previous experience preferred
Critical Care Experience preferred

Licenses/Certificates:

ARRT, CVIS, CRT or CVT
Current BLS certification (or completed within the first 30 days)
Cath lab or Cardiovascular specialty certification preferred
