Job Summary:

The Cardiac Catheterization /Electrophysiology Lab Technicians are responsible for the overallcare and evaluation of patients having invasive proceduresperformed in the Electrophysiology Lab. These duties include butare not limited to performing sterile scrub procedures and/ormonitoring patients during procedures on the Maclab, Cardio laband/or Workmate, for both diagnostic and interventionalelectrophysiology studies, device implants, ablations, tilt tableprocedures, vascular procedures, and any other cardiac proceduresperformed in the Cath or EP lab. Job may involve being crossedtrained to perform procedures and take call in the cardiaccatheterization lab. The job may include transporting patients,clerical work, ordering supplies for both the EP lab and Cath Laband any other duties the Coordinators or Director deems necessary.

Job may include supervision of students at the discretion of thearea supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:

1 year previous experience in a Cath Lab, EP Lab, Surgical OR,Interventional Radiology or any position that requires scrubbing induring sterile procedures preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider or Instructor throughAmerican Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider or Instructor throughAmerican Red Cross or American Heart Association RCIS is preferred.
