Travel TRA Cardiac Cath Lab Tech TRA is Tenet’sin-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied traveland local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract securitycompared to with an outside agency. The Cath Lab Tech isresponsible for providing technical and patient support and patientcare. Communicates continuously with the physician about patientcondition. Assist physician during invasive and noninvasiveprocedures. Operates all equipment safetly and correctly. Assessesprocedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Obtainssupplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs ofthe Cardiac Cath Laboratory team are met. Participates inperfomance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI)activites. The technician is authorized to be in the presence ofmedication

• Formal 2 year radiologictechnology training in an AMA approved school which meetsrequirements for registry by the ARRT
• Basic EKG Course PreferredEducation BS in Radiology or equivalent Preferred Experience 1 Yearproviding Cardiac Cath, Radiology Care RequiredCertification/Licensure
• American Registry of RadiologicTechnologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; OR
• RegisteredCardiovasular Invasive Specialist
• ARRT
• State license ifrequired
• American Heart Association BLS
