Cardiovascular Tech – Full-Time Position Available In Sumner, Tennessee

Performs various cardiovascular/vascular procedures including, but not limited to monitoring of diagnostic and interventional procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Assures proper radiation protection protocols.

• Minimum Education

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. A thorough working knowledge of practices and experiences in a Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved American Heart Association training center must be obtained within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hire.

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Drag Edit Delete

• Three years Cath Lab/Special Procedures experience – RequiredMust be able to perform all vascular/cardiac procedures involving the operation of imaging equipment including assisting the physician during the actual catheterization procedure.
