Job Description

Mental Health Support Specialist 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Fort Myers, FL Only local candidates are eligible to apply, there are NO virtual-only positions. Our MHSS workers must be able to drive to client’s homes, schools, or local offices to conduct needs assessments and service coordination. MHSS workers can schedule clients according to their availability due to our flexible scheduling! The goal of a MHSS worker is to provide local community resource information/ events/ and assistance to clients who may need additional support to prevent a crisis while they are working with one of our Masters Level Clinicians. This is NOT a clinical position or a crisis response position. The Sterling Center is a community-based, non-profit agency that specializes in the child welfare system using trauma-informed and family systems approaches. Our agency comes from humble beginnings; starting with only a few clinicians in Fort Myers, today we receive referrals from all over the gulf coast, central and northeast, FL. Our agency founder, Dr. Sterling, is passionate about the work that is being done in the community. Our clients know that The Sterling Center clinicians are a partner and advocate for their families. We work collaboratively with families on goal setting and making lasting changes to improve their quality of life and wellbeing.
