We are seeking a Referral Specialist to join our Administration team in Fort Myers.
Sample of Duties:
Provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers Obtain referral information from the provider including diagnosis and specialist name Schedule appointments within 48 hours and notify authorizations when necessary Contact patient with appointment details including office direction Record information accurately into our patient management system Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Position Requirements:
Experience working in a high volume medical office environment Great attention to detail and data entry accuracy Ability to handle all interactions in a professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner Excellent and professional customer service skills Knowledge of insurances, referrals, and eligibility a must One year of medical office experience or a combination of medical education and office experience
