Job Summary:
Serves as initial contact with Capital Health Plan (CHP) members seeking medical care. Answers phones and enters information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) required for scheduling and management of health issues. Maintains appointment schedules, collects fees, manages medical records, enrolls patients in electronic messaging like the Patient Portal, manages messages, assists with patient flow through the department, and performs clerical and administrative support services.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Preference will be given to candidates with prior medical office experience and a working knowledge of medical terminology.
