We are a fee-for-service private office (no HMOs/PPOs/Medicaid/or Medicare) focused solely on providing our patients dedicated premium comprehensive care and attention to deliver not just the best clinical work around, but the best patient experience imaginable. We are actively investing heavily in our office to serve a more upscale clientele that value quality care and VIP treatment. We are not a volume based dental office, and we prefer to build lasting relationships with our patients and take our time when providing a very high level personalized type of dental care. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dental Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This job involves excellence in two important areas. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing appointment schedules, ensure efficient patient flow, manage patient communications, and provide exceptional administrative support within a dental environment. Your job is to be obsessed with delivering the greatest patient experience possible. You are the face our patients will first see at the door, and you must be friendly, personable, and make the patient feel happy for coming into our office. You are to attend to the patient and accommodate them as much as possible when they arrive to the office. Make them feel comfortable, special, like they’re VIP. We are here to serve our patients, and the patient experience starts with you the moment they walk through the door. You are encouraged to have conversations with our patients, learn their story, and build friendships with them. If you do it. If our patients like you and enjoy your interactions with them in the office and on the phone, then you’re doing it right. We are looking for a candidate that can manage both roles. Someone who can both manage the administrative responsibilities of the role while also building friendships with our patients and making them always feel VIP.
Key Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Open Dental software is strongly preferred. Excellent data entry and documentation skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English & Spanish . Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a patient-first attitude. Mindset Responsibilities:
Greet patients with a friendly smile and always make them feel welcome Be attentive to any patient requests and try to accommodate reasonably Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently. Verify and update patient information in our Open Dental system. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, policies, and answer inquiries. Collaborate with the dental team to optimize the appointment schedule and ensure a smooth workflow. Follow up with patients regarding appointment reminders and outstanding treatment plans. And duties that are normally within the scope of front office administration
