Licensed Clinical Assessor – Independent Contractor

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Licensed Clinical Assessor – Independent Contractor will be a part of a call-down list to complete Baker Act and Marchman Act assessments in the field as needed. Respond to calls for on-scene Baker Acts and Marchman Acts assessments within St. Petersburg, Florida, city limits.
Must respond in person within 30 minutes.
If the criteria are met, a Baker Act or Marchman Act form will be thoroughly completed.
If the criteria are not met, CALL staff will be notified to complete documentation stating such.
In order to remain active on the call-down list, the contractor must complete a minimum of one assessment per quarter.
Available Preferred Shift:
Between 5:00 pm to 2:00 am
WHAT WE OFFER
$200.00 per On-Call Visit
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Master’s degree in a related field and an active State of Florida License as either a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Knowledge of Baker Act law and guidelines
Knowledge of the Marchman Act law and guidelines
Must have de-escalation skills.
Knowledge of Mental Status Exams
Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Independent Contractor Requirements:
Depending on the scope of work and/or services provided, independent contractors may be required to provide proof of $1,000,000 General Liability Insurance and $3,000,000 Professional Liability Insurance coverage. A waiver may be granted in some instances.
Independent contractors must submit IRS Form W9.
Independent contractors must submit to a Level I & II background screening.
