78th Avenue North, Pinellas Park, FL 33781 We are seeking a Resident Care Coordinator for our Assisted Living Facility.
Primary responsibilities include:
Ensure that all resident rights and responsibilities are protected and enforced Promote and encourage an environment that embraces residents to function as independently as possible Monitor and ensure quality resident care Provide training and educational programs for team members; mentor – guide – lead all members to reach their full potential and career goals Direct the day-to-day functions of care in the assisted living facility to plan, organize and enforce the overall operation of the department in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards within the community’s service guidelines. Accurately maintain all documents required by state agencies. Audit medication carts, provide resident care, maintain hospital logs, Communicate with pharmacy to ensure accuracy of medications. Assist with staffing and on call every other week. Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth, related to clinical standards of practice, gerontology, rehabilitation, organization, management, regulatory agencies, infection control, and interpersonal skills. Monitor usage of supplies and equipment Promote a positive image and foster/encourage an environment of open collaboration, communication, team support with focus and goal on resident satisfaction.
Qualifications:
ust pass an AHCA Level II Background screening Demonstrate ability to supervise and direct care personnel. Must be flexible to be on call and pickup shifts as needed Must pass an AHCA Level II Background screening. Florida CORE Certification or Training preferred.
