Job Description
TMS Coordinator 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 16 Eastbrook Bend, Peachtree City, GA 30269 The NeuroStar TMS Coordinator will serve as a patient advocate, guiding patients through the processes required for obtaining treatment. Key responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, securing insurance authorizations, providing patient education, and offering ongoing support. The coordinator may also be responsible for scheduling appointments and office administrative tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented, compassionate, and empathetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at multitasking. This position is patient facing and requires a kind caring person who will deliver exceptional service to our patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two or more years of college preferred Two or more years of related experience in a customer service, marketing, and/or patient-facing role.
Experience:
Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to data management software Medical office and/or health care experience preferred but not required Basic knowledge of medical protocols, patient care, HIPAA and relevant confidentiality regulations preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, stand, stoop and bend as required during duties. Demonstrate visual and auditory dexterity to effectively interact with office staff, patients, phone communications

Highly attentive to detail, with strong organization skills with an emphasis on accuracy and precision Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability to resolve patient concerns or other office challenges. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Maintaining a professional demeanor.
Key responsibilities:
Insurance Management – Obtain insurance verification for patients by working with NeuroStar’s benefit investigation department or directly communicating with insurance companies. Submit and track insurance authorization requests for TMS therapy to ensure that treatments are pre-approved and eligible for reimbursement. Collaborate with patients and insurance providers to address coverage issues, including securing required documentation or authorizations to proceed with treatment. Coordinate daily patient scheduling, TMS treatment sessions, and follow-up appointments efficiently. Prioritize urgent patient needs and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Ensure a smooth workflow by collaborating with medical and office staff to address any urgent patient needs or issues that may arise.
