We are an elite oral surgery practice that is committed toexceptional care for our patients and first-class service to ourreferring doctors. We are looking for a fun, hardworking,compassionate, team player to help us grow the practice andcontinue to serve our community with all of their oral surgeryneeds. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but notrequired. The role of the Treatment Coordinator is critical in providingexceptional patient care resulting in the best clinical outcomesand meeting the needs of our patients. Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Treatment Coordinator will greet patients, answer phones,schedule appointments, provide cost estimate, and collect patientfinancial responsibility. The Treatment Coordinator will alsomanage the doctors schedule and any communications with patient andreferring offices. Provides concierge level customer service while interactingwith patients, referring offices, and team members over the phone,in person, or via electronic communication. Updates and maintains patient insurance information. Maintains doctor schedule to ensure efficient use of thedoctor’s time. Partners with clinical team to ensure excellent patientexperience. Adheres to deadlines and prioritize work against the patientschedule. Collects payments from patients in an effective andprofessional manner. Understands doctor treatment recommendations and developstreatment plans from diagnosis. Effectively communicates treatment options and associated coststo the patient. Maintains confidentiality of all information in accordance withHIPAA. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education andExperience Highschool diploma or equivalent required. One year of customer service experience required. Medical or dental experience preferred. Skills and Abilities Understanding of dental terminology. Friendly, inviting, and professional personality andpresence. Basic office skills such as typing and filing. Good organizational skills. Attention to detail. Leadership and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to work cross functionally with other team members.
