Our small but mighty team is passionate about creating real impact. We’re growing, and we’re looking for a new teammate to join us in a very special role. Opportunity This is not your typical part-time job. It’s part heart, part hustle and part wellbeing. We’re looking for someone with both clinical experience and project coordination chops – a unicorn, if you will. You’ll help us support survivors one-on-one while also bringing programs like Loved Ones and Adult Survivor Care to life through thoughtful planning, implementation and evaluation. This role is perfect for someone who: Has a clinical background and loves working directly with people but doesn’t want a full-time caseload. Enjoys managing details, coordinating programs and finding creative ways to improve systems. May be in a semi-retired season or seeking purposeful part-time work (we welcome you with open arms). Wants to be part of something meaningful and growing without the 9-to-5. The following is an illustrative and not exhaustive list of required or desired qualifications, and general responsibilities. Professional Responsibilities Support Survivors Directly (Around 55%) Serve as a compassionate first point of contact for new clients. Help guide survivors through the intake and care planning process. Develop personalized service plans and connect clients with the right support. Coordinate with therapists, interns and community partners to ensure seamless care. Supervise interns involved in case management. Elevate and Expand Brave Step Programs (Around 40%) Coordinate programs like Loved Ones – from planning groups and trainings to managing facilitator relationships and tracking logistics. A natural connector who enjoys and excels at building relationships—with community partners, group leaders, and assistant leaders—to expand the reach and impact of the Loved Ones program. This includes proactive outreach (by phone, email, digital platforms, or in-person), maintaining program fidelity, supporting timely reporting, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Support trauma-informed workshops for survivors. Help research and test new services that meet survivors’ needs. Stay current with the latest in trauma recovery and make suggestions to keep Brave Step on the cutting edge. Help Us Measure What Matters (Around 5%) Measure, track and report on program outcomes including assessments, pre- and post-group surveys, etc. This includes quarterly reporting from partners and semi-annual program evaluation. A passion for data is a must. Keep tidy and accurate records (a love of spreadsheets is not required but appreciated).
You’ll Thrive In This Role If You:
Have a Master’s degree or higher in mental health (i.e. Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field). Are a licensed or associate-level mental health professional (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, PhD, etc.) with a trauma-informed background. Have 3-5 years of experience in client-centered roles such ascase management, intake and assessment, counseling or therapy, advocacy or other direct service positions, especially with survivors of sexual violence. Have experience coordinating or managing programs and enjoy making the behind-the-scenes magic happen. Enjoy both people work and paperwork , you love connecting with people and making systems better. Know how to lead with empathy while staying organized and grounded. Understand that data tells stories and want to help us tell ours well. Detail-oriented, extremely organized and thrives on managing multiple projects/tasks at the same time. Want a flexible schedule and meaningful work with a committed, purpose-driven team. Bonus points if you speak Spanish, have experience with group facilitation or are familiar with evidence-based trauma treatments (EMDR, IFS, SE, etc.). Must pass a background check Some evening or weekend hours may be needed Must be a self-starter and team player with a positive outlook, the ability to manage ambiguity and change, and a creative thinker and problem solver.
