Oral & Facial Surgery Centers of Massachusetts |Burlington and Cambridge, MA Oral Surgeon | Cambridge & Burlington,MA | Oral Surgery We are an elite oral surgery practice that iscommitted to exceptional care for our patients and first-classservice to our referring doctors. We are looking for a fun,hardworking, compassionate, team player to help us grow thepractice and continue to serve our community with all of their oralsurgery needs. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but notrequired. The role of the Treatment Coordinator is critical inproviding exceptional patient care resulting in the best clinicaloutcomes and meeting the needs of our patients. Role andResponsibilities The Treatment Coordinator will greet patients,answer phones, schedule appointments, provide cost estimate, andcollect patient financial responsibility. The Treatment Coordinatorwill also manage the doctors schedule and any communications withpatient and referring offices.

  • Provides concierge level customerservice while interacting with patients, referring offices, andteam members over the phone, in person, or via electroniccommunication.
  • Updates and maintains patient insuranceinformation.
  • Maintains doctor schedule to ensure efficient use ofthe doctor’s time.
  • Partners with clinical team to ensureexcellent patient experience.
  • Adheres to deadlines and prioritizework against the patient schedule.
  • Collects payments frompatients in an effective and professional manner.
  • Understandsdoctor treatment recommendations and develops treatment plans fromdiagnosis.
  • Effectively communicates treatment options andassociated costs to the patient.
  • Maintains confidentiality of allinformation in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Performs other relatedduties as assigned. Education and Experience
  • Highschool diplomaor equivalent required.
  • One year of customer service experiencerequired.
  • Medical or dental experience preferred. Skills andAbilities
  • Understanding of dental terminology.
  • Friendly,inviting, and professional personality and presence.
  • Basic officeskills such as typing and filing.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally with other team members.
