Full Job Description Overview:
The Patient Compliance Advocate will assist in guiding patients and acting as a liaison between patients and their healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other entities that impact the patients’ healthcare needs. This is a full-time position in Lexington, SC (1216 West Main St.) and the work schedule is Monday to Friday between 8am & 5:30pm . Great work-life balance. No evenings or weekends! About the
Role:
Complete patient compliance calls to reengage them with program and therapy Assist in connecting patients with their case manager Assist in scheduling appointments Assist with medication refills and authorization approvals Gather pertinent information to assist in applying for patient assistance programs on behalf of the patient Interact courteously with patients and team members to develop and maintain positive, professional relationships Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to patients, case managers, providers, insurance companies, etc. Handle payment transactions at Point of Service (POS) Coordinate prescription deliveries Proactively identify and analyze problems and provide effective solutions Perform other related duties as assigned Perform in accordance with company policies and standards Embrace and perform in the spirit of the company’s core values and goals
About You:
High school diploma or GED required Actively registered as a Pharmacy Technician in South Carolina Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills Bilingual in Spanish preferred Must have a positive attitude, be energetic and flexible, have excellent phone etiquette, and provide exceptional customer service Must have a reliable mode of transportation to get to work on time each workday At Avita Care Solutions, compassionate care is at the heart of everything we do. Pay range:
$16 to $18 per hour, based on credentials and geographic location.
