Job Summary:
JOB SUMMARY
Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unitenvironmental standards under the supervision of a licensednurse. .
POSITION OVERVIEW
In this role, you will be able to administer ADLs, vitals, labdraws, acute checks, place foleys, and straight caths. Coming soonwill be wound care.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of direct patient care in a hospital environment. Thesuccessful candidate will have current experience in Med/Surgand/or
ICU. POSITION HOURS

6:45am-7:15pm
Nights:
6:45pm-7:15am
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unitenvironmental standards under the supervision of a licensednurse.
- Assists with day to day delivery of patient care.
- Facilitates efficient and safe patient care and flow by followingwork area standards.
- Serves as a liaison for communication and education of patientand family needs.
- Supports unit operations and patient flow by maintainingsupplies, equipment and unit environmental standards.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
- Planning & Organizing (Fundamental Awareness): Demonstratesability to anticipate basic resource needs, identify discretetasks, set priorities, define dependencies, schedule activities,meet deadlines, and organize work for own assignments andresponsibilities.
Appropriately matches equipment, and capitalresources to task demands. Prepares and presents clear and accuratestatus reports on projects and assignments.
- Clinical Competencies (Novice): Demonstrates sufficientfundamental proficiency to assist and perform clinical careincluding but not limited to vital signs, phlebotomy, specimencollection, medication administration and point of care testing asdirected by unit standards.
- Care Partner Patient Documentation (Fundamental Awareness): Haslimited experience or training working with clinical applicationsfor patient documentation.
- Environment of Care (Fundamental Awareness): Has limitedexperience or training working with set up and maintenance ofpatient exam rooms, supplies and equipment.
