Full Job Description Position Objective:
The Patient Services Liaison supports program success through the development, analysis, and communication of data-driven insights between the HUB and Specialty Pharmacy (SP) vendor. This role is responsible for building and maintaining performance dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and responding to internal and client data needs with accuracy and urgency. The Patient Services Liaison interprets trends in access and reimbursement, monitors vendor portals for data quality, and supports continuous improvement through reporting, testing, and strategic reviews.
Accountability:
The incumbent will report to the Patient Services Director.
Essential Functions:
Develop and maintain weekly and monthly HUB dashboards including a HUB KPI performance dashboard. Develop and maintain weekly and monthly SP dashboards for client dissemination. Respond to ad hoc, urgent client data requests with data from HUB and SP vendors. Liaise with Patient Services regarding reporting, dashboard development, data measurement, analysis, and data quality across multiple vendors. Interpret program data for purposes of assessing reimbursement and access trends across all vendors. Review online portals daily and work internally across departments to identify potential areas of digital improvement. Review portals and reports from HUB and SPs daily for missing data, data corrections, data anomalies. Work with appropriate vendors and COPILOT staff to ensure data accuracy. Assist Patient Services with User Acceptance Testing in vendor portals when requested. Work with HUB vendors to collect various metrics to align against established KPI and SLAs. Participate in quarterly business reviews with current vendors. Assist in slide deck development and revisions for COPILOT QBRs. Quality checks the full and field liaison reports daily to ensure accuracy where applicable including missing data fields. Report IT helps desk tickets internally and provide client with ETA on resolutions If there is no timely resolution, meet with IT help desk for verbal resolutions Pull monthly data on case manager (s) workload to determine increased volumes to determine if regions require additional support Report monthly data to program director on caseloads, prior authorizations approvals, denials, cancellation including % of success by region, SF volume and turnaround time from orders received to shipped. Provide recommendations on data set and deliverables cross-functional stakeholders to use one-source of data agreed upon by client and vendor. Must exhibit excellent skills in the following areas: verbal/written communication, computer/data entry/software proficiency, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, self-discipline, pro-activeness, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree, strongly preferred. 1-3 years of pharmaceutical experience in project management and operations support. Experience in creating process flows, data file layouts, dashboards and PowerPoint presentations. Ability to translate data findings into easily understood narratives in graphical, verbal or written formats. Functional knowledge of health insurance and benefits (private and public payers). In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance requirements and patient confidentiality (HIPAA regulations) Highly knowledgeable in all types of patient affordability programs including copay support and patient assistance programs Strong strategic, analytical, time management, and multi-tasking abilities, preferred. Preferred strong strategic, analytical, time management, and multi-tasking abilities Drive for results, sense of urgency, and be solution-oriented Excellent data gathering, analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in PowerPoint, MS Teams and Excel (including pivot tables)
