Claims Analyst (Healthcare) Position Available In Suffolk, Massachusetts

Claims Analyst (Healthcare) Our well-established healthcare client seeks a collaborative and process-oriented Claims Analyst to support their team! The ideal candidate enjoys working through complex processes and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a remote role requiring core Eastern Time Zone hours. Claims Analyst Responsibilities Review and analyze accounts for outstanding balances. Reach out to insurance companies via phone and email to facilitate payments based on contract terms. Process payments/reimbursements and reconcile accounts as needed. Research, resolve, and prepare denied/rejected and active claims. Respond to billing, coding, and policy-related inquiries. Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance of records and transactions. Assist with ongoing system and process improvements. Claims Analyst Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; CPC or similar certification a plus. At least 1 year of accounting, billing, coding, or similar experience in a healthcare-related setting. Working knowledge of claims edits, Medicare billing units, NDCs, diagnosis codes, and revenue cycle processes. Tech-savvy with electronic health records system (Epic or similar preferred). Customer service-oriented with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization. Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Deadline-driven with the ability to effectively prioritize and maintain attention to detail.
