Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Lillington, NC 27546 Overview Quality Assurance/Risk Management Responsible for the day-to-day operation f the performance improvement and risk management functions of the organization. Ensure that accurate and complete data is used to assess the quality of services delivered. Collaborate with leadership and clinicians to strategize, monitor quality improvement modalities and identify opportunities for minimizing risk in delivery of services. Provide leadership and guidance in implementing the organizational Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance Plan. Collaborate with medical staff, accounting teams, and coders to ensure accurate and comprehensive medical coding. Assist the Chief Medical Officer in directing and implementing Quality and Safety Committee initiatives. Conduct quarterly risk assessments and recommend strategies to minimize adverse events. Communicate effectively with staff at all levels regarding quality improvement and risk minimization efforts. Serve as a subject matter expert on electronic health records (EHR) and data infrastructure, optimizing workflows and data accuracy. Provide orientation to new staff members in Performance Improvement, OSHA guidelines, and clinical protocols. Recommend improvements to programs and workflows to maintain and advance Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) accreditation. Monitor all aspects of the board-approved Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance Plan, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies such as HRSA, CMS, and MCOs. Participate in clinic-related activities, including grant applications, patient data analysis, and committee engagement. Complete required annual reports, including the Uniform Data System and Federal Tort Claims Act submissions. Generate reports on quality indicators and chart audit data to support Quality Assurance meetings. Audit charts for compliance with screening tool usage, as directed by the Chief Medical Officer.
