DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The work of this position focuses on optimizing PHIEA’s operations to enhance collaboration with stakeholders, including insurer/carriers, brokers, and assisters to improve outcomes for Pennsylvanians who have health insurance needs not met by other minimum essential coverage. This position brings a combination of people, processes, and tools together to efficiently provide value to the organization. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework:
You may be expected to work from home (telework, preferred) full-time. You must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $80,000.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Four years of Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance and provisions experience obtained in the health insurance industry, federal or state-based exchanges, and/or Health Insurance companies;and
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; or
equivalent education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
You must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Pennsylvania and maintain residency for the entirety of your employment with the agency.
You must have experience with the review, analysis, modification, and implementation of customer-facing procedures, policies, and directives.
You must have strong written and verbal communication, time management, and presentation skills.
You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Experience with product development and/or annual plan filing with the PA Insurance Department
Advanced data reporting and visualization skills
Previous employment experience in a state-based exchange How to
