Salary Range:

$26.00 -$41.50 Department Details Flexible hours, no weekends or holidays,independent working environment, support from other remote staff,and training for position. Job Summary Responsible for maintainingparticipation and/or coordination, consultation and technicalsupport of data systems, including but not limited to: centers forMedicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Joint Commission (TJC),and other various registries based on clinical diagnosis. Althoughdirect patient care is not part of this job role, understandingclinical presentations of disease processes across the age spectrumis necessary. Develops and implements processes to collect,monitor, analyze and report quality improvement and safetyinformation consistent with internal and external needs.

Contributes to the development of the health quality plan forSanford. Coordinates and facilitates work on assigned qualityimprovement goals related to the overall quality initiative.

Facilitates quality improvement activities within assigneddepartment and setting including implementation of improvementstrategies. Stimulates problem solving and innovation. Coordinatepeer review activities within assigned departments. Analyzespatient records to identify potential variances from desiredclinical outcomes. Designs and provides education on qualityimprovement topics as needed. Provides consultation on qualityimprovement and accreditation. Qualifications Appropriate educationlevel required in accordance with state clinical licensure.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Graduate from a nationallyaccredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limitedto, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE),Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), andNational League for Nursing Commission for Nursing EducationAccreditation (NLN CNEA). Minimum of three years clinicalbackground in specialty required. Microsoft Office applicationsexperience preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains anunencumbered professional clinical license with the applicablestate board, accrediting body, and/or national registry as requiredfor department needs and specialty focus area(s). If an RegisteredNurse, holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board ofNursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possessmultistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specificcompetencies and certifications. Maintain any additional departmentspecific competencies and certifications.
