Responsibilities Conduct precertification and concurrent reviews for all admissions within 24 hours. Complete insurance verifications within 24 hours of admission. Conduct weekend pre-certifications, as needed. Under supervision, review the medical records of patients who are under treatment to ensure proper utilization of treatment resources Review patient records for proper case documentation, and medical necessity of treatment in relation to federal, state and county regulations Advocate for required patient treatment with medical providers Perform other duties as requested This position is Full Time ON SITE in West Palm Beach and focuses on Behavioral Health What the Ideal Candidate Has 3 years of mental health utilization review experience Knowledge of Joint Commission, DCF, and AHCA Standards for all levels of care.
