Position Summary:
The Clinician at RiverValley Counseling Center provides trauma-informed mental healthassessment and treatment to individuals, families, and couples. Thisrole includes developing and adjusting treatment plans, maintainingaccurate clinical documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinaryteams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The clinicianpromotes culturally responsive, strengths-based care while supportingclients through crisis intervention, community referrals, and ongoingtherapeutic support.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct clinical assessments,diagnose mental health disorders, and develop personalized treatmentplans for clients. Provide on-going therapy to individuals, familiesand/or couples, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and conductingon-going assessments of progress. Utilize strength-based,trauma-informed, resilience-building communication strategies ininteractions with clients and families. Exercise cultural humility andrespect at all times. Maintain client confidentiality, rights, andrecords in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Document all clinical workaccurately and maintain client records according to established RVCC andregulatory standards and procedures. Develop and maintain workingknowledge of community services and resources for clients. Coordinateany necessary referrals, outreach, advocacy, or case consultation asappropriate to meet client needs. Report abuse or neglect of a child,elder, or disabled person in accordance with Massachusetts law formandated reporters. Participate in client care and multidisciplinaryteam conferences when indicated. Facilitate family consults and/orsessions when clinically indicated for minor clients

Required:
Education Level
- Master?s degree in human services,counseling, clinical psychology or social work Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills,crisis intervention skills, organization skills, attention to detail,computer skills, good customer relation skills, knowledge of legal ðical issues pertaining to their profession
Preferred:
Years ofExperience
- 3 years preferred; However, new grads are welcome to apply!
Licensing
- LMHC, LMFT, LCSW or LICSW in the state of MA Bilingual(English/Spanish)

RVCC offers twotypes of pay structures: Our Fee For Service Structure allows our parttime & full time clinicians to create their own schedule allowingamazing flexibility while also earning paid sick time! Our Salary Plusstructure offers a base salary for full time clinicians with theopportunity to earn extra money while receiving amazing time offbenefits such as vacation, holiday, personal and sick time!
