Driver’s License Case management PointClickCare LPN Medical terminology 2 years Communication skills Full Job Description Overview The Clinical Liaison / Authorization Specialist is the pivotal link between hospitals, insurers, pharmacies, and our in-house clinical team.

You will:

Secure and track prior authorizations for medications, durable medical equipment (DME), therapies, procedures, and hospital stays Travel locally (using your own reliable vehicle) to pick up methadone or other time-sensitive medications Verify patient benefits, interpret payer guidelines, and resolve coverage or billing issues before they delay care Maintain meticulous records in Sigma and other EMR/claims portals.

REQUIRED

Qualifications:

2+ years in utilization review, authorizations, case management, or hospital/rehab admissions Solid grasp of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer rules Working knowledge of medical terminology & ICD-10 Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable car Excellent written & verbal communication

PREFERRED

Qualifications:

Active LPN, LVN, RN, PACS, RHIT, or related clinical/coding certification Experience with PointClickCare, NaviNet, Availity, or similar portals Prior liaison work with NYC-area hospitals Familiarity with methadone treatment protocols Bilingual preferred For more information, pls send a text at (929) 703-0843
